Fluorescence is a Warning

Fluorescence is a Warning is the first in a three part series inspired by my concern about rising ocean temperatures and their effect on the coral reef ecosystems around the world. I want viewers to make an emotional connection with the art and consider learning about how ocean temperatures impact underwater ecosystems. Because ocean temperatures accelerate climate change, our care is needed now. I chose deep color, layering of humans and ocean imagery, and digital art to show how we are connected and impacted by each other. I also wanted to show that technology can be destructive or constructive in serving our climate crisis.
